Edits on King are done... One more read through and this puppy is ready. Edits on Ghost also done! And Edits on Princess are done... but the writing goes on. World building for Nano is in progress, and I've a few ideas that need to be sorted and put down in notes. One day I'm going to have to go through my files and clean em out...
I think it may be time to look into another external file as well. I like filing things away for a rainy day.
Sorting down ideas for next years publications. (No, it never ends.)
We all have milestones in our life. Birthdays, marriages, deaths, you name it. For me it's publishing my novels. It's a dream come true for me. And now the dream is shifting and moving down new roads. In July Forged King will be published, and it will be the end of the Forged Saga. It will not however be the end of my publishing. I have Close to you out there. And soon there will be The Ghost in the Well and for Christmas, there will be Princess in Hiding. I'm very excited to see where the journey takes me, and I hope you will all travel the next road with me.
I'm in final edits for the last book in the Forged series. And what an amazing and glorious journey this has been. From the days of writing on Fan Fiction. Net... to self publishing my saga....and there's a person who I have to thank. Sydney Blackburn. Syd is an author, an artist, and a great sounding board and writing buddy. Sydney insisted that I write the story of the Maze. And so I wrote the Maze story for Nano and the rest is history.
With the publishing of King coming up, and the end of this series I'm having mixed emotions. I've lived with this story in my head for years. Publishing it, and watching it get bought is an amazing thing for me... the goal... the achievement of a dream. Because of the Forged Series I can fully claim the title Author. With the end of it, I need to move on... to other stories and to destiny. My Destiny... I am an Author. I even have business cards to prove it!...
There will be days when I'll look back, and wonder if I should have done all of this... but deep in my heart I am glad I took the steps of this journey.
