I'm still trying to wrap my head around this.
69... too young.
Gone? how is that possible?
He was a most amazing and brilliant performer. At the forefront of so many changes in our culture and our thinking. He was fashion, art, music and so much more. His movies were always interesting choices in character portraits.
His vampire was not exactly sympathetic, but it was compelling. His Goblin King was the stuff that dreams, (and nightmares) are made of. (years of writing fodder for this Goblin Scribe.) Monty in The Linguini Incident was adorable. He could do comedy, drama and horror.... he was versatile.
His Tessla was outstanding....
His music touched all of us in one form or another.
and now he's gone.
maybe it's because I'm 63... but 69 seems so young.
I will miss him. He was inspiration to me. Fan sites dedicated to him introduced me to so many friends.
I wish I didn't feel like he left us with so much work left undone.
