I love writing, and I love the world in my head.
It's no surprise to most folk who know me. I have after all dubbed myself the Goblin Scribe. And while I have other stories to tell, the ones I love the best are fantasy. I've got lots of ideas in my head, making up for notes and files lost when my external hard drive failed.
I love writing, and I love the world in my head.

I'm remembering Easters of the past.... years ago when I lived in Oak Lawn Illinois. My sister and I dressed in pastel dresses, little white gloves and white shoes. My brothers in their suits.
My cousins Kathy and Kerri.... and dinner at Gram's while my Granddad was alive. Easter baskets from Fanny May! Flash forward to the first Easter after my Granddad was gone, midnight mass... Uncle Pete in tears when the priest shouted "He is Risen!" Then to my own house, here in River Forest... egg hunts and my kids growing up. I'm so happy I could cry. Hook story needs more work... edit, rewrite and changing gears.
One thing I've learned is a lot of what I do isn't just writing, its editing and rewriting. And I've a stack of files that are in need of edits. And ideas that need fleshing up. And week one is gone, I wait on the publisher to accept or reject my submission.
