And while I love the feel of a traditional book in my hands, my bookshelves are pretty well filled up.
With a ebook, I can store it in the net... and go back to it when ever I wish.
What a world... why, it's almost like magic.

It was pouring when I awake today, my back yard has a water feature where the dip is. Here in Illinois, if you live near the river, your yard has dips. Even in the city if you're near the river, the yards have dips... it's part of the wonderful package that's Illinois.
Brenan Weavers is live, and I need to work on getting it ready to go on Create Space so I can sell hard copies to the reads who prefer a book in hand. I wish more of my readers would review the books. Either on Amazon it's self or on Good Reads. It is so important that readers review. Believe me, I'm ever so grateful to the ones who have reviewed. Having good, honest opinions is wonderful, and readers should feel free to post their feelings without retaliation from the writer. I know that when I read a book, review it. So please, good readers, please, when you finish a book, review it. I'm an author, ( I never get tired of that!)
I love writing, and I love publishing. If I didn't, there wouldn't be a Forged series, nor The Ghost in the Well nor Close to You. Or any of the other things I've written. How to publish is often a question, one that my fellow writers face as well. Self publishing has been a wonderful thing! I'm able to put out my multi genre work and not fight finding the right genre to submit it to. However, I know that my own marketing skills are not that good. Small press and Traditional press have better marketing. So from time to time I do submit my work to them. Today my indie book The Brenan Weavers has released on Kindle. In a few months my novel The Guardian of Misty Hollow will be on World Castle. And the adventure goes on. The first week of this new year is nearly done, and so are the edits to my novel. I loved working with my editor Maxine. She was amazing! Put me at complete ease, when you're putting your 'baby' in someone's hands it can be pretty harrowing. So now Guardian is back with the publisher, and the ball is in her court.
I'm looking forward to the next step... and the marketing! This adventure goes on! I'm a very happy camper this morning. It's a new year, I'm a grandmother, and World Castle is going to publish my novel The Guardian of Misty Hollow.
I'm working on edits even as I write this. It's a wonderful new year, and the adventure goes on. I will be posting more about the publishing date, and plugging my book... I love saying, I'm a published Author! |
